Liberal (Minority/Majority) Government 2025 - ???

Carney said a strong Canada will help make America great again.

Why shouldn't Canadians travel more to the US and spend their money there to also help make America great again?
Because traveling in Cansda keeps the dollars in Canada, making Canada stronger, which helps America. 😉

The dollar also goes a lot farther here, so unless you need to visit Disney. The Maritimes or BC offer great beaches for a summer vacation.

Please don't let Parks Canada anywhere near the project. Reno for Province House in PEI estimated in 2015 to take 2-5 years at a cost of $20 million; currently at 11 years and $140 million.
Wowa!! Where's the Auditor General on this one??

Oddly enough, 100+ years of deferred maintenance gets really expensive, really quickly. Toss in a pandemic, and a very limited Canadian workforce with any significant amount of masonry skill, and you have some (but not all) of the delays and cost increase.

...imagine a proper restoration of the Citadel in Quebec City. As it's a DND asset (not Parks Canada) we could surpass 5% of GDP on defence ;)

New report on the state of health care, and while more a provincial government issue, the lack of attention to it makes the arguement for federal intervention and strategy. The good news is less patients are treating ERs as a replacement for a family doctor for minor issues. The bad news is we aren't seeing the capacity growth in terms of number of bed spaces and practitioners. The plain truth is we keep throwing money at a system on life support but we are treating the symptoms not the disease so to speak.

Welcome to confederation.

Its been pointed out that Ab for example has less hospital beds now than it did in 1990. Its no wonder how HC system can handle the current population then when out average per capita bed ratio is 2.5, germany for example its over 7
