Don't forge your client's signature.

Don't falsify a notarization.

Don't cash the settlement and never tell your client.

And definitely don't do all that for $6,500.

Good proposed sentence. No doubt a long-term and costly impact. One wonders what her motivation was.

Not harsh enough. Innocent people could be sitting in jail directly as a result of her gross negligence as well as guilty people being free. To me this is capital punishment worthy.

Reading the article it seems at least one of her motivations was laziness. Never underestimate the amount of effort some will put into avoiding doing their job. Oftentimes it is more effort than actually just doing the job.
