The ask was for an example. I provided two. I know full well that I live in a bubble, I can clearly see this when I drive 20mins west to Hamilton where it reminds me more and more what I use to see in downtown Detroit when I lived back home in Windsor in the 80’s to early 90’s. Windsor looks more like Hamilton as well. The blight is evident.Don't feel so comfortable. I realize there are lies, damned lies and statistics, but according to StatsCan, 'total drug violations' incident rate across Canada was 143.5/100K population in 2025. For Halton Region it was 4581.7.
Just because they aren't visibly lolling around Ye Olde Town Oakville doesn't mean they aren't there.

To get a trade deal with the US, concessions will have to be made. People are probably okay with that until the concession impacts them directly.
As for Halton Region, back out Acton, Milton and G’town from those numbers. Acton has had major drug issues for decades. When I lived in the country side north of Georgetown the OPP routinely would fly spotter planes over my house looking for Weed cutouts in the middle of the massive cornfields all already us.
I’m routinely walking and dining in downtown Burlington and Oakville and by the grace of God I’ve yet to see any Fentanyl bent over users in the area. Hamilton sadly they are a dime a dozen.
