British Columbia NDP Majority Government 2024-(no later than) 2029

How many is this now?

Eby should probably start buying lottery tickets in bulk.

Banman was also the first MLA to cross to the BC Conservatives, coincidentally. It's not just the moderates jumping ship.

44 seats won in 2024, now down to 31.
Serves them right.

Les Leyne: Recording appears to have Findlay offering job in exchange for MLA's seat

Conservative Party of B.C. Leader Kerry-Lynne Findlay has responded by calling the leaked audio a preposterous smear job.

A recording of Conservative Party of B.C. Leader Kerry-Lynne Findlay offering a “senior adviser” role to any MLA who would resign their seat so she could run to get into the legislature surfaced on Thursday.

It’s a new controversy on top of the multiple defections this week that are riveting attention on the infighting that is raging. Abbotsford South MLA Bruce Banman became the sixth this month when he announced Thursday afternoon that he would sit as an Independent.

It sharply contradicts her denial that there were any offers, and the Criminal Code has a section forbidding inducements to leave political office, although there is scant history of it ever being enforced.

I'm sure everyone who were upset at the insinuation that Carney bribed CPC MPs to join the LPC will be similarly outraged here that we have actual recordings of the BC Conservatives leader bribing sitting members to give up their seats.

🤣

Gahd, all you can do is laugh…
It's kind of funny until you realize just how close this party was to winning the last election.

It's kind of funny until you realize that this it the main opposition party (for now) and that Eby gets a free ride until they sort their shit out.

Then it quickly goes from funny to tragic.

What’s in the water out there?

The same as everywhere else. The extremists and moonbats have chased the normies out of politics. Normies don’t have the time or passion to confront the passionate ideologues who take over party infrastructure and riding associations. Normies don’t want their lives put under a microscope and the pay and pensions isn’t worth the hassle for them.

“The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.”
