MND calling the DM and CDS into his office, letting them know that this is overdue, that the RCN rank change is five years overdue, that the QR&O renaming is also overdue., and that they'd best have it fixed in two weeks or both are walking the plank would be a very positive bit of progress.

But how do you get the message that this is overdue to the MND if it has to be filtered through the CDS and DM - oh wait - an honourary lieutenant-colonel!!!

Passing legislation and trusting the bureaucracy to execute is not a sound way to advance, based on past performance.

I suspect we don’t have a PM at present who simply “trusts the bureaucracy”. Naming Sabia as Clerk is evidence of that.

CID has been deprecated for several years. Replaces by a SharePoint site that's got the same data quality issues, but at least isn't a janky Access database in the backend.
