It may actually be Vance.

Vance suggests Nidal Hasan’s execution won’t be livestreamed, contradicting Hegseth

The defense secretary had said on Thursday that the convicted Fort Hood shooter’s execution by firing squad would be livestreamed for the public.

Sounding like Hegseth is getting the bus.

Readers wishing to tune in for live event may expect to see something like this.

Or, maybe not, as it will be the first U.S. military execution by firing squad since January 1945,

Twelve men from the 109th Regiment formed the firing squad with M1 Garand rifles. Eleven rifles held live rounds, one held a blank.

I fully support the death penalty.

And I can find any number of horrors online if I want to look hard enough.

But publicly making a martyr of someone I don't understand. This will only embolden people who share the evil doer's views.
