Air Force major charged in firearms bust in Kingston, Petawawa

That bit in yellow, though, would affect any internal CAF proceedings linked to any conviction, I suspect, no?
NDA 92, maybe? Scandalous Conduct by Officers? Might be a stretch, but I don't recall seeing this in CM of late. The last published trial of NDA 92 I could find was in 2008.

DMP might gun shy (ha) at prosecuting him under the NDA after pleading guilty to the CBSA stuff because of the risk to double jeopardy. The optics of doing it after a guilty plea might be bad too.

Could smack him around administratively though. Remember we have two lanes, Discipline and Admin.

Agreed.

I wasn't going down that road, just pointing out a potential service offence. I'm sure there will be an AR following this, if it hasn't been done already.

Administrative measures seems the more solid choice. Add something about doing a poor job hiding his contraband - yee old punished for getting caught.
