Must be a liberal thing.
Idk, he looks like 90% of Stampede attendees who think being country means drinking and driving their Silverado lol.
He was generally an awkward guy in almost all situations, except when he was talking about hockey. Didn't agree with his position on a lot of things, but respect that he stuck to his agenda and did what he said he was going to, so at least you knew what you were getting.
Yeah that really shocked me at the time. I figured since he spent so much time in Calgary, he knew better than to let someone from Ottawa dress him, or at least knew how to wear a hat.

I'm sure this will make those anti vax separatists happy..... AB is now has the most measles cases in all of North America, more then the entire united states. If only we had say an 8 billion dollar surplus laying around to help deal with this crisis......oh wait

Screen? Yes, medical evaluation is part of the processMany outbreaks appear to be centred around religious communities like the Mennonite and Amish. It was the cause in Texas and Ontario. As well, I believe many immigrants, legal and illegal, aren’t vaccinated or screened when they enter the country.
But do we demand they get vaccinated to our standards? As well, it only applies to those that come here legally.Screen? Yes, medical evaluation is part of the process
Unfortunately a little thing called human rights comes in, I believe we cant force vaccination if they dont have it but it's strongly encouraged. But do we demand they get vaccinated to our standards? As well, it only applies to those that come here legally.
We could, if we chose, require proof of vaccination as a border control for any non-citizens or to be eligible for any period of work or study.Unfortunately a little thing called human rights comes in, I believe we cant force vaccination if they dont have it but it's strongly encouraged.
Anyway I doubt immigration is the issue, 28% of all immigrants in Alberta are from the Philippines which the measles vaccine is mandatory. The next highest groups are India, china, and the UK who all have childhood vaccination programs for measles.
89% of cases are from exposure in canada, and 87% are unvaccinated.
