I heavily suspect this is an interim cabinet so i wouldn't hold any weight to it. we have 47 members of the LPC caucus not seeking reelection, its going to be a whole new field after the election

Interesting to see the Karina Gould was not selected to continue on as a Cabinet Minister. She has publicly said that she is standing for re-election. Not sure if anyone saw her absolutely shocking, unbridled disaster interview on CNBC (the main business channel in the US for those not in the know) where she was asked by Joe Kernen (a moderate follow in my opinion) about the trade deficit that the US has with Canada and Gould said that there was no trade deficit at all. Kernen nearly fell out of this chair and then calmly said, that yes, yes there was and gave a chance for Gould to correct herself and move on from there. Gould doubled down and again said that that the US didn't have a trade deficit with Canada. Things quickly got worse for her after that.

As someone who lives in her riding, I have to say that she tries to be active and come across as knowledgeable and intelligent but that knife is just not sharp.
