Conditional Acceptance

I talked to my RC on Friday and was told I had been accepted for my first choice, FCS Tech 434, but they didn't have a position for me yet.

So I have a couple questions regarding this, first is this normal does everyone go through the process of waiting for a position to open up or be created?

And second, how long could it take and could I get a last minute call to go to basic?

I'm just curious because the sooner the better is my attitude.

They don't have a BMQ date for you yet.  That is what they mean. Wait out.
