It’s much like areas of Iraq and Afghanistan, you can play whack a mole till the cows come home - for everyone you kill there are 4-5 desperate people that want a job (or don’t have a choice)

The Houthi without the coast and the port of Hodeidah would be far less of a threat to everyone. My guess is this will continue till there is enough international will to push them back into the mountains.

The War Zone has an article (with video) showing a Houthi USV being engaged by a ship-borne security team that results in its destruction. Watching the video I'm thinking the team waited way too long before engaging the target. Also the writer states the rifles the security team are using as either "Steyr" or "Heckler and Koch G3 rifles" but to me they sure look like FN rifles!

The H&K G3 does look similar to the FN FAL unless you look at them very closely.The War Zone has an article (with video) showing a Houthi USV being engaged by a ship-borne security team that results in its destruction. TBH, it should be a surprise.
We give data to Ukraine. / ergo we can’t expect that Russia won’t provide data to our enemies, especially since Russia doesn’t hold itself to any sort of political standard anyway.
We should just understand Russia isn’t a hostile competitor but a nation we are at war with.

At this point it seems pretty apparent that the only way to simmer the Houthis down sufficiently would be by occupying the ground and establishing Yemeni sovereignty. Could be that an Arab coalition of countries financially hit by the Red Sea shipping crisis should take responsibility on the ground, with ongoing U.S. assistance in intelligence and strikes.

You don't need to take the fight into the mountains, just the coast and perhaps 10-15km inland, except around the ports and lowlands. Without access to the coasts, the Houthi will lose their abilty to restock weapons and ammunition. Plus they lose the money making abilty that they have controlling the ports. They still will control aid access to the population under their control. It is going to suck for people under their control, but I don't see any other way.
