Islamic Terrorism in the West ( Mega thread)

Another one nabbed ....
Last piece has loadsa links to court docs associated with the case.

As others smarter than me have said upthread, if they're going to meet in the open, might as well soak in the int juice and share it around.
We used to hunt down Nazis and deport them. FWIW the GoC and governments at all levels should be vigorously denouncing those who advocate murder and rape as a means of "liberating" their "homeland".

And take lots of videos and sound clips and forward them on.....

Another British immigrant recommending learning English as a key to integration.

Add him to the list of successful immigrants like Kemi Badenoch, Suella Braverman, Priti Patel, Rishi Sunak, David Lammy, James Cleverly, Humza Yousaf and Anas Sarwar.

Come to think of it, learning English is still no guarantor of integration. But it is a start.

Immigration as a weapon of war....

Russia uses migration like a “tap” which it can turn on and off to influence European leaders, experts have said.

Vladimir Putin is accused of using migration as part of his “hybrid warfare” against the West, including as leverage in political support for Ukraine.

It comes as The Telegraph reveals that one of his agents – Jan Marsalek – had been attempting to influence the flow of migrants into Europe using private armies.

There is evidence that Russia is fuelling migration in a number of ways, including physically moving people toward the EU’s borders, supporting smugglers, increasing instability and violence in certain regions including Syria and parts of Africa.

Putin’s cronies are also accused of spreading “fake news” about migration in order to “disrupt European unity”.

Late last year Finland closed the last of its borders with Russia after seeing a dramatic spike in the number of migrants without proper visas and documentation, mostly from the Middle East and Africa.

Elina Valtonen, the Finnish foreign minister, had said that “undoubtedly” Russia was using migration as “hybrid warfare” and in some cases they were “actively helping” migrants travel to the border.

It was just the latest in a string of European countries bordering Russia and its allies which have warned that they have seen a deliberate influx, including Poland, Lithuania, Estonia and Norway.

“We discovered, for instance, in 2019, just before the European elections, that there was a deliberate attempt to push a new wave of mass migration from Turkey, Greece and so on, in the direction of northern Europe,” Mr Kleinschmidt told The Telegraph.

“The wrong information was being spread by certain people who we suspect are Iranian and Russian agent provocateurs, people who tried to push that and said Angela Merkel will open the border again.

“We have seen a very deliberate manipulation of migration flows. We see that at the border to Poland. We have seen that at the borders to Hungary as well as, of course, from Africa.

A Russian spymaster plotted to use private armies to control migration into Europe, The Telegraph can reveal.

Jan Marsalek, the fugitive boss of the disgraced tech company Wirecard, planned to create a 15,000-strong band of mercenaries to control the border in the key migration route through Libya.

Weaponising the flow of migrants is said to be a key aim of Vladimir Putin, with the issue being a major factor in elections across Europe.

Marsalek, who is on the run, even bought a private military company and succeeded in getting the first Russian boots on the ground in Libya.

And the Irish aren't happy...

Mass immigration.

And the Irish, in Ireland and N. Ireland, are also some of the most breathtakingly blatant racists you'll ever meet.

For Eire especially this is one of the big downsides of being part of the EU - for both the Irish and immigrants to Ireland...

‘Racism is rampant in Ireland, across all sectors and levels’

Dr Ebun Joseph is clear – people face discrimination in Irish workplaces because of their skin colour

The arrival of global tech firms and other international companies, bringing with them and attracting people of various nationalities, races and cultures, has been a factor in increasing Ireland’s ethnic diversity. But is racism something people of colour, be they Irish or newer arrivals, have to contend with in the workplace?

Dr Ebun Joseph, the founder of the Institute of Antiracism and Black Studies who also established the first black studies module in UCD, supports and advises people facing racism. She is clear: racism is rife in Ireland.

“A lot of ethnic minorities face inequalities in the workplace,” she says. “No single sector is free of this. From medical doctors and nurses to people flipping burgers, IT support, banking – everywhere. It is rampant.

“I think we should come to a place that we can all agree there is racism in Ireland. People think racism is only in America but it’s happening here. The reason we don’t think we have the same problems that we see in America is because people of colour are in all strata in America but in Ireland they’re only in the bottom strata. The places we see conflict in Ireland are at the bottom of the ladder because that’s where the people with visible differences are.”

Eight arrests in connection with two separate terrorism investigations

Counter-terror police arrested five men in one investigation and a further three in another. Both operations concerned Iranian nationals, though were not connected to each other, police said.

Interesting, I’m looking forward to learning more about this.

Iran isn’t as big into the ‘blow stuff up’ terrorism on Western soil. They’re huge into fundraising though, and transnational repression of dissidents and other political opponents- that can absolutely extend to lethal threats.

Charges laid against Islamic State financier in Canada’s terrorist financing investigation

A 34-year-old man is charged with terrorism-related offences following an investigation led by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Federal Policing Integrated National Security Enforcement Team (INSET).

The Greater Toronto Area, INSET - Terrorist Financing Team has been investigating Toronto resident Khalilullah Yousuf since March, 2021. The RCMP alleges that Yousuf is part of an international network of Islamic State supporters who utilize online and encrypted messaging platforms to provide recruitment and financial support to the Islamic State.

Nice. Terrorism financing is hard to prove, that’s great work.
