You are insinuating Carney would break the law and commit a criminal act without any evidence. This is the problem in our politics right now, everyone is assuming things and not presenting facts
I insuated nothing of the sort. You're reading more into my comments than what's there.

Well it says this for starters.

Your Trusted Source for News on the Conservative Canadian Party and Pierre Poilievre’s Vision for Canada.

Yet most of the articles are about carney. Including one specifically about his daughters.

And as for the source itself? Nothing is actually sourced at all about where they got this info. No links no evidence etc.

Do you actually believe that? No wonder he wants to build homes and cut GST and build pipelines. Clearly conflict of interest right?
Quick search shows this site is hosted in California and gets about 22 organic hits a month right now. It was created on Jan 17th 2025, strangely it has only 17 key words set up to direct canadan traffic, 87 for US traffic, and 3 for UK originating searches. Meaning the target audience of this site seems to be Americans shape his perception in the US vs Canada.

If it doesnt have ppc links directing traffic in my bet is some early year media studies student's project

Just because you say it is garbage, doesn't make it so. You have zero proof.

Obviously you can't dispute what is printed. So you attack the journalist and web site.

Thousands of articles have been posted here without attribution of the content.

Your only problem with it is that it comes from a Conservative source, which you are typically loath to agree with.

We have nothing to discuss, because you can't disprove what is written there. All the rest of your charges and tangents are what is garbage.

All we have done is determine your bias. Tough luck indeed.
Everything I said went right over your head. I now have a much better understanding of your worldview after this little interaction.

Have a great night FB.

Sounds like he’s stealing center right ideas again. I hope he keeps going with these things.
Looks like Carney will revisit the emissions cap and work directly with industry and their needs..

He's also said he's going to get rid of the GST on homes for first time home buyers for houses under $1mil.

He could really push the CPC right here if he walks back the climate/green stuff. I know I've brought it up before but if he walks back the Liberals firearms work I'm not sure what the CPC would have to stand on.

He seems to be doing to the CPC what JT did to the NDP.

my hope would be the CPC counter goes the other way and leaves voters with a nuanced fight between flavours of a pragmatic center, but I'm a dreamer

Now, lets have a peek at 1993 Kim Campbell bloodbath

Some key take away points
"Campbell's initial efforts helped the party recover somewhat in pre-election polls..."
"(Mulroney) permitted a series of patronage appointments just as he left the PM's office in 1993"
"With polls showing him facing almost certain defeat in the next election, Mulroney announced his retirement from politics "
"Campbell enjoyed a brief period of high popularity upon being sworn in, becoming the eponym of "Campbellmania"
"By the end of the summer, Campbell's personal popularity was far ahead of that of Chrétien"
"Campbell was therefore seen as having a good chance of remaining in power if the Progressive Conservatives could at least finish with a similar number of seats to the Liberals"
" Most notably, the election marked the worst defeat for a governing party at the federal level and the worst ever suffered by a governing party in the Western democratic world."

The former Mulroney/Then Campbell Conservatives were obliterated.

Included is the opinion polls leading up to and including the election

To quote Brian Liley "Voters are fickle, campaigns matter"
ive seen this before. But i dont remember thinking anything other than the PC's were going to get their ass handed to them and that Mulroney was a coward for cutting and running

I’m actually happy to see that despite this looking like a dirty campaign, it may actually have some good positions and policies up for discussion and choosing. Hopefully less about the candidates and more about the ideas.

I remember this election. First federal election I voted in. Did you not check the polls in the article? They showed the conservatives having a good chance of beating Chretien at the time. Lemme guess, your political insights were so stellar back then that you knew what was going to happen? It did happen that Chretein cleaned up but don't try and convince us you knew thats how it was going to turn out.

That being said, you can't see the similar patterns? Of course not.

Or maybe your political insights are perfect, so tell us who is winning the election that is being called on Sunday?

You shock me, dude. Sometimes you say shit that I just can't see any agreement with. And then things like this, I am very much in agreement with you.

If Carney ACTUALLY does everything that Pierre is going to do anyways, then honestly, we win either way.

no i dont remember it that way at all. Like i said. To me it doesnt feel anything similar now. 3 months ago I would have said they were similar.
Right now I think the Liberals are going to win. We'll see how the campaign goes

i doubt the Carney Liberals are going to walk back the firearms OIC's

Probably won't be an election issue but should be, the impending demographic implosion. The CPC keeps quoting our our capita GDP as a signal of why we are failing. But if you dive into we have a demographic problem not a economic one. As of July 1st 2024, 21.1% of our population is 65 and older, another 15.6% is 14 and under. So 36.7% of the population isn't working, which works out to just over 15 million people. As of Feb this year 20.9 million people were in the labout force. That's why our GDP per capita is in the crapper, half the population isn't working anymore. The median age in Canada is 40, so the number of people over 65 is going to get bigger soon.
