There are a few people here who get it, but I've gone on so many angry rants about the WEF & their ilk I just found like a conspiracy theorist (which I am self admittedly, but most of that is just me trying to bring actual facts to light that the MSM tries to bury or ignore)That's just it, he talks big when it counts, but doesn't deliver when it matters. His real agenda lies with the WEF, making Brookfield richer and to say the right words so the "elbowsup" section of the population keeps blindly voting Liberal. Canada is on the same downward trajectory as it was with Trudeau, same circus just a different leader.
Carney played the all too easy "The Americans are trying to screw us over, but don't worry...I'll fight back & I have all this international experience to draw from!" card, to make a name for himself at a time when the LPC was headed towards non-party status...
It caught people's attention. And it clarified a crisis in people's minds, while heavily suggesting that Carney was the only viable option if Canadians still wanted to have a country in a few months.
The typical 'create problem + create solution = me' politician card - saw right through it the moment be said it. (It was the smirk he gave after he turned from the crowd that did it for me)
---
But like you've said, Carney's loyalty is to the WEF primarily, Brookfield secondly, and Canadians thirdly. (Oh but thanks for my 1% tax cut...ffs)
Still no word on the Green Slush Fund investigation, or any mention of the money being paid back.
(Sorry Lumber, I kmow you've offered extremely detailed summaries of what actually happened. And I'll believe you any day against the narrative of the mainstream media. But thats a lot of potential criminality & a shit ton of money, I just wish I had some sort of official comment from the RCMP that they have dropped their investigation...which I dont think they've stated either way yet?)
Still no real progress on getting tariffs lifted from the US or China (for a guy who's super connected to the CCP, he sure hasn't done much about getting those tariffs removed...)
(I have a gut feeling that our 2 biggest trading partners both slapping heavy tariffs on us at the same time means we probably did something stupid and underhanded, and the government didn't bother to say anything to the public...those 'media subsidies' sure do buy a fair bit of loyalty...)

Carney is significantly more likeable than Trudeau. Even I wanna like the guy, and to a certain point I do like him (more than Justin anyway, but not as my Prime Minister)
Even at the G7 last week in Kananaskis, I was present at the lodge briefly and personally witnessed him shaking the hands and thanking all of the staff, apologizing for all of the extra security checks, pat downs, vehicle searches, etc etc.
He thanked them all for "putting up with them" and seemed genuinely nice about it, with smiles and laughs all around. (Like I said, I really do wanna like the guy!)
But at the end of the day, you are 100% right. Carney, like Trudeau & Freeland & Gould (and I imagine Guilbeau), is loyal to the WEF agenda...
There is a reason why the LPC always crams a bunch of crazy shit into their proposed bills that are always called something warm & fluffy, in which their titles don't reflect what's actually included in the proposed bill...
(Yet 100% of the time so far has been stripping away individual rights of Canadian citizens under the guise of protecting them...every. single. time.)
AH
e wants to spend even more money than Trudeau, yet won't release a budget and won't tell the country what the 'big goal' is to justify spending all this money & digging us even deeper into national debt.
For anybody who finds themselves numb while reading this...maybe this will slap you out of the apathy this last decade has caused...
Trudeau spent more money than all previous Prime Ministers combined - and Mr. Carney wants to spend even more
If we are to judge a tree by the fruit it bears, this fruit seems pretty much the same as the last fruit. Namely...
- Spend tons of money above & beyond what the government brings in in tax revenue, but with no clear declaration as to what that money is actually being spent on & a general public that wants to see some sort of tangible phenomena in exchange for the public purse
- Propose legislation titled to address one thing, then sneakily cram a bunch of other crazy nonsense into the same bill because they couldn't get passed if they proposed it on it's own
So more spending to help bankrupt us even further, and more government power for them to watch & monitor us at an individual level even more.
Carney's statements about becoming an energy superpower are in direct opposition to his other comments about Net Zero, his various initiatives on climate change, etc.
(And true to his WEF ilk, I see he hasn't lifted the tanker ban on the west coast yet. Shocking.)
I WANT to trust the guy and feel better about things. But so far, his actions haven't won me over...leaps & bounds more palatable than Trudeau, but I'm not remotely sold yet that he isn't here to finish the job.
But yeah, "elbows up" or whatever it is people say now... (wtf does that even mean anyway?)
