Liberal Minority Government 2025 - ???

Good on this guy!!

I for one am quite proud of him (that may sound cheesy, but I don't know how else to say it) for accomplishing what he has & getting himself not only selected as leader of a provincial political party - but also getting himself elected as Premier.
Yes, I agree.
Give credit where credit is due, this guy is moving the peanut up the hill.

When Jagmeet burst onto the scene I was really impressed by him. I didn't agree with all of his political stances but I thought he was the best leader in the bunch.
I’ve got a neighbour down the street that I know from our dogs, who are buddies, lol. This fellow is a Judge here in Ontario who knew JS when they were both lawyers in Ontario. He says that everyone thought JS was dumber than a bag of hammers. All were shocked when he went into politics.

Doesn't say much for the quality of our legal profession does it? Wab seems to care more for the welfare of his province than he does for the dogma of his party. A rare quality for a politician. Manitoba appears to have lucked in.

All true, but interesting on how some see one Premier who came in wearing one team jersey, then bobbed/weaved a bit to deal with current circumstances/reality.

One man's Wab Kinew is another's Doug Ford - with pro & con feelings very likely equally strong for both ;)

If there is one huge realization that I have had since I started with Sheriff's Branch, it's that the stigma the law profession has about lawyers being fairly smart people is a MYTH...

Sure there are plenty of smart ones.

But...mmmaaannn...I have seen some of the dumbest motherf**kers ON EARTH walk into a courtroom in the morning wearing a shirt & tie, and carrying a folder

(When I started with Sheriff's Branch I worked courthouse security & prisoner transport. Believe me, I'm sharing this from direct & prolonged observation!)

On the Team Blue leadership front ....
Also, archived links to Globe & Mail and Hill Times articles on the leadership review.
