I'm also getting the feeling he really didn't like what Jivani did earlier.

When asked whether he's considered going to Washington, Poilievre said he "always believed in the rule of one prime minister at a time."

"And what I wanted to allow was for the government of the day to have enough room to operate and negotiate on behalf of Canada. And I never wanted our country to be divided," Poilievre said.

He knows if he loses another election he’s done. There’s a real likelihood election now or soon would cement an LPC majority, and not by a seat or two.

If I was PP I wouldn't want an election right now either.

1) Time is not on PMMC or the LPCs side. And election with a landside victory for the LPC give them more of it. So PP needs to prolong this Gov.

2) He knows he's a cooked chicken if (when) he looses an election called with the current polling.
