Even when they buy the F35, they support homegrown fighter capacity.

We don't have that. We could have that. Which is why jarnhamar is being intentionally obtuse. The Gripen isn't just about the airframe but having a domestic stake in an fighter aircraft.

I don't give a damn about what the USA does, we need to, as a country, be willing to run through a wall to achieve our goals, not cower at the first hint of adversity.
