Now electoral reform never happened, but ask any parent if they would want tbeir CCB taken away and you would have a riot. Ask people if they want weed illegal again, same riot.

He lost me on electoral reform and then seemed to attack my way of life for the next decade after that. Electoral reform was a major blunder IMHO. And really Trudeau remained in power for a decade because since Harper no alternative from the CPC has been found. And this trend continues for the CPC. And the LPC also now have the assistance of the grand Cheeto south of the border.

So what group of people has left? There are many suggesting that it is the top of the food chain; the 1% wage earners and the professionals and there must be a lot of them to exceed 800000 coming in.

Interaction student numbers dropped from 293k to 115k.

The international student population in canada dropped from 1m to 700k.

Overall, we stopped bringing in many many many people and now we are actively shrinking and will continue to do so. Women have 1.3 kids per woman, that's nowhere near replacement. As more and more people leave and less and less immigrants come in we will start to sink like a stone in terms of population numbers.

Increased psychosis with teens. Housing affordability. Large-scale deficit spending and national debt increase. Immigration pressure and integration strain. Electoral reform failure. Western alienation and national unity strain. Public service strain and ridiculous consultancy. Job, sporting and property loss wiIth firearms. Foreign interference.

It gives MADD a whole new target audience and if that is the best we can come up with for a legacy we would have been much better off without him. Student population number dropping is great. It gives kids who actually live in Canada a chance at a college or university education without having to have an 80% plus average out of H.S. Was in our local hospital today. Well over half of the visible staff are eastern Asian minorities. We have had a form of CCB since just after WW2. They have simply changed the name and increased the amount paid but they have been doing that all along it is no credit to Trudeau. Every time the government has needed to buy votes they have made an adjustment and that is all he did. If you want to give credit for it you need to go back to the 90s and Paul Martin when he was finance minister.

The CCB before trudeau consisted of a lot of tax credits. Which implies, spend money to get money back. Which is really reallly bad when you dont have the money in the first place. So no, the CCB before Trudeau isn't at all the same.
