According to this article, about 1.4 million Americans travel out of country for healthcare. With us it seems to be timeliness more than availability, with them it seems more about cost.

I originally supported MAID and still do in certain cases. But I don't like it being pushed seemingly as an alternative to medical treatment.

any agreement that is dependent on LNG or oil is absolutely useless until they start laying pipe. Have they started the review process yet 'cause that will take a year and then at least 5 years to lay the pipe. At least Kitimat has the nod.

It’s not accurate to say Nitrogen fertilizers are ‘byproducts’ of natural gas production. They aren’t. Nitrogen fertilizer production consumes natural gas, and requires pretty significant infrastructure. It’s a deliberate choice to leverage cheap and abundant natural gas to meet industrial need. While Canada does have Sulfur as a byproduct of oil production, and that makes its way to some fertilizer as a cheap input, that’s very separate.

There’s nothing about us expanding natural gas production that would necessarily result in more nitrogen based fertilizer. If there’s a business case to be made for another fertilizer supply chain in Canada along side more NG production because the NG will be right there and cheap, great; but if that’s the case, it could be done right now if it priced out profitably.
