I base what I see on what Carney has done to date, and EVERYTHING he does at the time he does it, has a political goal first and foremost. Take the blinders off and for once consider that politicians will do political things for politcal gains. If Poilievre was doing it, you would be screaming it from the roof tops.

You seem to believe that you know what is in my head and heart. Please don't do that. So far, you are inevitably wrong when you try to do that.

Moreover it is disrespectful and dismissive to do so. I have not claimed any insight into your personal motives and belief system because a) it is rude, and b) it is intellectually lazy and avoids having to make arguments of substance - and although I am notoriously physically lazy, the same could not be said of my intellectual approach.

If Polievre was making the same moves, I would be supporting him. I am evolved enough to be be to make a distinction between the individual and their performance.

If Carney REALLy wanted to do put the nation FIRST, at speeds "not seen before"
-He first would have convened parliament in the summer of 2025, as Parliament had most of late 2024 and early 2025 off, they didn't need the whole summer off and contrary to what some think, bills and laws get done in parliament
-He would have repealed the stupid Trudeau era anti-energy laws immediately
-He would have clamped down on Doug Ford for his stupid ad against Trump
-He would clamp down on Eby (anyone think he is not a fool at this point?) on the pipeline development
-He wouldn't hold up the F35 deal while the P8 Poseidon and MQ9 deal is still a go
-He would make getting a deal with the USA a priority MUCH sooner (EU never going to replace the 408 Billion dollars we deal with the USA) and Claudia Sheinbaum seems to be doing ok
-He would have been up front about the Gordie Howe bridge (Even the CBC called him out for it)

Do I keep going? If you Think Carney doesn't do things for political gain, I can't help you.

If Pierre did shit more for political gain than what is right, I would not be pleased with him.

There is a reason I won't vote for Doug Ford Conservatives anymore.

I can't argue.

Carney is the best conservative to ever lead the LPC.

He really is much more a Red Tory than he is a Blue Grit, but he is absolutely the closest to my previously membership supported PC party ( RIP). CPC as it exists today does absolutely nothing for me. If Carney hadn’t come along when he did, the Canadian Future Party would have got my vote again.

I would 'hope' that something that drastic would force the US Congress and Senate to act sharply and swiftly to remove Trump from power.

If they haven’t done anything for all the previous criming, I don’t think they would do anything for this.

Thats always been the more legit concern imo. Something closer to the Fenian Raids than an actual invasion. Not that we could do much in an actual invasion beyond terrorism.
