looking for Katja Schikulla

Hello,

I am a army brat who grew up in Lahr during the mid 80's early 90's.   In 1985 I briefly befriended a local girl from Weisweil named Katja Schikulla (AKA Karmen, Katrina).   She was a troubled youth whom I lost contact with in 87.   Anyone with info please PM me.

Sorry,

I forgot to mention that I heard she had married a CF firefighter in 1988 moved to Canada, seperated the following year and returned to Germany.   Also heard that she re-married another Canadian and may have been posted to Borden in 1990.

We hung out at the King's Club in Lahr (yes, we were underage) but she went astray and we stopped hangin' out.   It's been over 15 years and just wondering if anyone knows what eventually happened to her.

Wow,

That takes me way back.   I do know her but not of what happened to her.   I would think that any single guy in Lahr during that time would know her.   She hung out with almost everyone at the various establishments.   You are correct that she married in 89.   I left Lahr in 90 and never had cause to think about her again.   Good luck in your search.

4 Scv Bn Thanks for that info.  I was beginning to think that no one from that time period had known her.  Still have not heard anything regarding what she is doing these days.  No need to continue this thread but if you or anyone else finds anything out please PM me.  THanks

Katja was a friend of my ex-wife.  I knew her, and her sister Sonja very well... also was friends with the guy who knocked Sonja up and ran back to Sask (cute kid), but thats another story.  Anyways, Katja did marry an army guy,  Doug Hale, MCpl mechanic.  They were posted to Borden and lived there untill Doug was med released from the army in the mid-nineties.  Last I saw her was in '99  She was living in Hamilton ON, still married with a couple (?) kids.
