Pet + AFG + 3 years of employment

Can anyone shed some light on this, when I was at the garrison last week I was told about Pet offering combat service and support  all training they require to make them deployably, if you move there and  take a tour in AFG. My Mcpl was pretty shotty on details . I'm going to ask for clarification next Wensday. I just figured I would ask on here. Figured someone might know something.

May be work up, but that is too long. May be back fill for the personal deploying at the home lines? I've been hearing something along those words in my neck of the woods.

How about classifying it as RUMOUR until some form of official correspondence appears.
