may be a silly question but with the time span available couldn't the vast majority of those positions be filled by either retirees or people parting after say 10 years with a guaranteed job available in exchange for taking a reserve slot or even without the reserve position?

With the next G7 being held in France on 15-17 June and SK being on the invite list of attendees, does anything want to venture a guess if our decision on the submarines will be made, before the G7 meeting, during the G7 meeting or after the G7 meeting?

I'm thinking closer to the fall.
