Vics are going one place. Breakers yard. Their number of dives will probably be maxed out by then.If we go Korean, I say we sell them the Vic's.

Well they seem to have a thing about poorly thought out sub deals, so why shouldn't we get some of the action? Plus the sonars and periscopes will be almost new. That is if we get the Korean subs. If we go German , we will be using them for quite sometime.I thought we liked the Aussies lol. That doesnt seem like much help to me
Hopefully one of the Vic’s ends up as a museum vessel.Vics are going one place. Breakers yard. Their number of dives will probably be maxed out by then.
or West Edmonton Mall.....Hopefully one of the Vic’s ends up as a museum vessel.

Some of the longest deployments of Canadian subs, both in the western Pacific and the Med?Very respectfully, why would we want to preserve their legacy ? What has the class accomplished ?

Put it beside the Iroquois bow... Just a nice collection of ship parts hanging out there. If they don't want to keep a fully intact one, taking a cross-section slice out of one would make for a very educational display.
The tank room at the National War Museum might have space.![]()
We had 1/3 scale full cut-away modules of the Victoria Class as a Full Length engineering display model. Not one museum in the country was interested in them.If they don't want to keep a fully intact one, taking a cross-section slice out of one would make for a very educational display.

Drained money from DND budget….Enriched Babcock. What has the class accomplished ?
Likely as there was no overt female or Indigenous content.......We had 1/3 scale full cut-away modules of the Victoria Class as a Full Length engineering display model. Not one museum in the country was interested in them.
Kept us in the submarine game without having that skill set evaporate/vanish, hopefully long enough for a small core of submariners to grow to the 12 sub size that we need.Very respectfully, why would we want to preserve their legacy ? What has the class accomplished ?
The People of Port Burwell would never allow it. Apparently they are pretty pissed about the Ojibwa and how much it ended up costing the municipality. One to join the Ojibwa and one to join the Onondaga, perhaps. Having them side by side and touring them one after the other would provide an interesting perspective on technological changes.

Better would be next to Sackville or HaidaOne to join the Ojibwa and one to join the Onondaga, perhaps. Having them side by side and touring them one after the other would provide an interesting perspective on technological changes.
