No. It would mean they are in the water. That's a lot of maintenance. Better that they be high and dry. It would be better for Haida and Sackville too, BTW.

The tour guide at Ojibwa told us the cost to build the 1km road to bring it up on shore was equal to 1km of the 401 at its widest point. I don't even know how many lanes that is. I think they got the sub for $1 but they spent $6 million parking it.
I don't think any subs will be saved for a while after that.

I toured a few years back France’s first nuc boat in Cherbourg. They’ve got it docked and in the water. A great tour.
For a real contrast go to Malmo, Sweden. They have one of the WW2 Uboats as part of the museum there. 15 minutes and you will have a whole new respect for the men who went to sea in them
Same with USS Growler in NY harbour next to USS Intrepid. Amazed by the size of the Regulus hangers and the crews bunks were stacked 4 high.
I thought there was a push a few years back to make a dry exhibit of Sackville?
Where did they end up?
