Or, they're still funding the extreme left, which remains determined in its decades-long quest to destabilize the centre, now by importing not particularly well-adjusted people, some of whom are just mentally unstable, but many of whom originate in cultures that aren't in a hurry to adopt western liberal institutions and have enough cultural chauvinism to impose their attitudes in their new home. Throw in speculation that they help those people migrate, too.I wonder if the Russians fund the far right in the UK using the same methods that they used with the far left in the 80's?

I note that it was neighbors and residents who saved the man being attacked. The assailant was defeated with a hurling bat. I can assure you that had the above happened in front of my residence, the assailant would have been confronted with more than a hurling bat.Always follow the money.
Is this corroborated and confirmed? This would be a really egregious breakdown in lawful authority.

Like the meme says, why not both?Or, they're still funding the extreme left, which remains determined in its decades-long quest to destabilize the centre ...
My personal opinion is it's being done at the behest of corporations to suppress wages and benefit a select few elites at the expense of working class Canadians.
Why be pro-free enterprise when you can secure your place at the top, and wrap yourself in DEI/anti-racist armour?Further evidence for me that business people are not pro free-enterprise.
and maybe reduce the number of murders committed to protect the honour of the family.Big business will try to kill off competition by almost any means before they become a threat.
As for immigration, I remember the opposition to Harper, producing a booklet for would be immigrants on "Canadian Values" and what is expected of the immigrants arriving here. One has to ask why such a move would be controversial?
I have seen firsthand on multiple occasions of immigrants being taken aback by the rights given to women here, including their wives and daughters. It should have been made painfully clear to them before coming and to sign an acknowledgement that they understand what they are agreeing to. That would keep the worse away and reduce some of the friction.

As for the business in the UK right now, it's the inevitable result when government fails in it's basic duty to protect it's citizens.
There aren't that many serious crimes resulting from cultural baggage.and maybe reduce the number of murders committed to protect the honour of the family.
I think at least some of it was the principle of any given government coming up with values. I’m guessing those who liked Harper’s idea wouldn’t be so enamoured of any such plan from a Team Red government - or, heaven forbid, Team Orange if that ever happened.I remember the opposition to Harper, producing a booklet for would be immigrants on "Canadian Values" and what is expected of the immigrants arriving here. why not provided the term VALUE actually meant something and didn't change with the seasonI think at least some of it was the principle of any given government coming up with values. I keep remembering the young girls/women drown by their own father, mother and brother in the locks around Kingston roughly 20yrs ago.and maybe reduce the number of murders committed to protect the honour of the family.
It sounds a lot like placing a bunch of Jewish people smack dab into an area split between Polish Catholics and Ukrainian Orthodox’s in 1908 and seeing what happens.![]()

I can't figure out whether it was a sick joke or a deliberate ploy to make Britain unattractive to refugees by placing furriners into nationalist and orange neighbourhoods.

That was some terrible, dark stuff in my opinion. I hope that those convicted never experience freedom again. For readers too young to remember,

KINGSTON, Ont. — One of Tooba Mohammad Yahya’s sisters and her husband fully endorse the notion of honour-killing. The startling revelation is contained in a Saturday story in Montreal’s La Presse, written by columnist Michele Ouimet, who interviewed the couple in Kabul two months ago.
As news of the story rocketed about the near-empty Kingston courthouse where jurors in the notorious Shafia murder trial are deliberating, the jurors...
