Signal Operator: Selection Board/Regular Force

Just wondering if anyone knows when the next selection board will take place for sig op. I was merit listed last week and am anxious to start basic training. Any help would be appreciated...

Im at work today and around 1400 I get a call from CFRC Toronto. "Are you still interested in a position with the Canadian Forces?" You better believe it!!!! So after a week and two days of being merit listed, I finally get my job offer, after a frickin year of waiting...But man was it ever worth it! So; I will be sworn in on December 14 at 1300, and then off to basic training in Borden for January 9th. To all those people who are waiting for this sort of thing...Patience will go a long way to avoid insanity. If its to be it will come...Even if it is a fricken year down the road!! :warstory:

I'm coming up to 5 months since applying, I hope it doesn't go a year! Keeping my fingers crossed for the November 28th board...

My whole process from handing in my application to receiving the call took almost exactly 2 months.
September 1st - Handed all my forms in
October 31st - offered a position with infantry

At first i thought it was taking forever too, but after reading many other threads and hearing people say they have been waiting (or waited) over a year to get into the CF i felt good about the length of my process.

I also made a few people i know jealous  ;D

No doubt - it helps going infantry too, you don't have to wait for selection boards that are 6 weeks apart...

I dunno..but sigops should be paid more than just rank pay...just because we're so damn good looking.

You are way of Base there....it is the women %&&s you keep.  Therefore, you don't need to get paid more, as you only spend all your prize money on more booze....then more %&&s.....and the cycle continues.  You're not called 'Sigs _igs' for nothing.  ;D
