The Great Gun Control Debate- 2.0

I see this as just one step. A next step could be to ban certain kinds of vehicles to the general masses. Unless you have a demonstrated business need, no gas guzzling pick-up truck for you - buy this Chinese made EV instead. Climate crisis and all.

I definitely think they believe vehicle restrictions are in the future.

Depends if you think restrictions on gun ownership is progressive (I don't), whether you think restricting gun ownership is a 'small L' liberal foundational policy (I don't), and whether you think restricting gun ownership is a "healthy" policy for the "big L" Liberals (I don't). The only way this is a win is purely of the basis of "we said we'd do it and we did it". Regardless, what's it have to do with me and whether or not *I" am embarrassed?
its not progressive but it might appeal to the "progressive" wing of the party
I dont see how only apportioning enough money for 10% of the registered restricted firearms is a policy win

Yes and if you live in an urban area you may be told to use the fine public transportation the generous government has instituted.

Or if you are privileged the generous government of the people may give you a fine bicycle!!
