Trump administration 2024-2028

Whoops! I actually found this by checking the veracity of what seems to be an AI generated version of this that is circulating, that shows conservatives as least likely to resist US occupation. Clearly a fake

100%
And why Tony Blair? He’s an old school lefty, why him?

Blair, a "lefty"? As the leader who was the face (and prime mover) of "New Labour", he was far from being the stereotypical trade union socialist of the "old" Labour Party. More aptly, a 'new school lefty' - from the right (i.e., posh) schools - in other words, a centrist.

It's funny how the political groups least represented in the military are the biggest proponents to use the military to defend Canada in that poll.
It is fake. Another piece of misinformation. The list of potential instigators is large....and includes political parties of more than one nation....

Edited to add that I am not certain if it is a fake or not.

Frank Groves runs Ekos. I don't think he would be posting fake polls.

Seems more like disinformation. The best disinformation is that which seems plausible and which the target audience wants to believe.

... I accept very little at face value these days
So you should - I've learned some good lessons from you & your digging re: sourcing over the past few months (thanks for that). That said ....
Good news: it IS on the x.com feed attributed to the president founder of Ekos Research ...
... and Graves' name is on the EKOS site. There's also posts responding to the original one showing Graves did conduct the research. Another poll tracking x.com feed actually provides a touch of detail re: sample size:

Good/bad (depending on your political bent): Hard right blogger/commentator Spencer Fernando is amplifying the material as credible in his eyes.

Bad news: it's not listed on the public domain bits of the Ekos site ....
... and searches at Google, DuckDuckGo, Swisscows and Yahoo show zero hits for the exact wording of the question as shown in the slide on the x.com post.

Optimist take: part of proprietary polling requested by someone where the results can't be shared en masse.
Pessimist's take: just made-up shit by some Libtard/New World Orderist/Chinese-Russian info-war troll.

Bottom line: how much does one trust a slide from a post of the head of a Canadian polling firm?

Personally, I'd call it at least a 7 to 7.5 out of 10 on the cred scale (we don't know any of the other questions & responses, not to mention more details on methodology & other context stuff), but YMMV.

Yeah maybe the NDP are just being clever and see killing two birds with one stone by sending out mostly white straight males into the machinegun fire.
I suspect the skew in results for conservatives reflects a concentration of the minority of Canadians who want to be annexed by Americans. The ones who have already told us why they look forward to greeting our new overlords.

Almost as if the conservatives know who would do the initial heavy lifting.
I find most hard core conservatives are much more inclined to follow political ideology rather than any sense of national values. Same with the hard left.

The real barometer is where the middle stands as it represents most Canadians.
