Updated Army Service Dress project

The RCN, not to be left out of the party can bring back these. Still have two of them at home. Great for yardwork.

I'm very curious to see how the Sam Browne belt is going to look on the members with no discernable waist.

Where'd this come from?

Are there forage caps dead? You'd think that No 1s are the prime order of dress for them.
Yuck

Also, I hope red sashes aren't universal. That's an infantry thing.
It’s just being used as a demo.
Same way the old Dress pams used to.

Frankly I dislike the white gloves and belt for the NCM’s the Brown belt from the O uniform looks better.

Also is it just me or is the Officer footwear brown (like belt and gloves) and the NCM footwear black?

Seems like a stupid differentiation.

I'm indifferent. The white does look good if everyone is the same and the keepers keep it level.

Brown traditionally was worn by officers going back to the Victorian era. Theyll look better with the Sam Brownes. I'm indifferent either way and it'll make no difference in cost.

By the way, anyone know the timeline on distribution? I'm actually super stoked for the switch, it's a small, unimportant change in the grand scheme of things but a fresh, new uniform can be good for morale and help us define our service as we move into this new era.

There is a few PPTs on ACIMS. Red sash will remain with the infantry. If you zoom in on the images, all models wear a generic army cap badge and the collar dogs are the Royal Canadian Infantry Corps collar dogs.

NCMs will wear black parade boots, officers will wear brown oxfords and brown gloves to match the Sam Browne.

General production and rollout is Q4 2026.

It is from a PowerPoint dated 30 May 2025 that DLR sent out to various organizations as an update for the initative.
