Imagine, the new service dress but all wearing the old gabardine or Canex jacket or rain gear. Or Cadpat over the new DEU.

It will be like a start trek movie uniform transition period or a paintball game full of uniforms from everywhere.

This shouldn't happen, as according to the PPTs, there will be no mixing. Gabardines as an item will also no longer be part of an individuals scale of issue. They will be held at depots for use in ceremonial events. The DEU rainjacket is already gone, can't order it from logistik anymore, and there will not be a new one.
