Updated Army Service Dress project

I will neither confirm nor deny the existence of a draft 'No. 5A garrison dress' image on Sharepoint which shows the new combats with the shirt tucked in and a regimental stables belt represented by a royal blue canadian army stables belt.

I will share these images of the trial uniform that will be the new uniform (less some slight changes to the velcro):
Look good, hopefully it rolls out before I retire.

So is the pattern changing again, or just the cut of the uniform?
Well there's a picture you responded to, so you can see the cut yourself. It's also pretty easy to see find the full catalogue on DWAN. MTP is staying for the new suite of clothing.

For the combat uniform. The cut, size charts, and fabric are changing. The outer layers will be CADPAT (MT).

ICE jacket and parka still have magazine pockets, no need to fret!

I thought this was funny. The poster is accusing the person in the picture of stolen valour because they are wear the green CadPat rain jacket over the new uniform. Sadly this isn't the first time I've seen this. Consider that the MT rain jacket doesn't exist yet, I'll hold out on calling SVC.

New Army service dress rolls out, issued by unit, in Q4 2026, and new combat uniform rolls out in Q4 2027, you just gotta hold on until then.
Out of curiosity, where did hear the dates & rollout type for the service dress? I had read elsewhere (briefing materials from the spring) that it would be by Corps / Regiment rather than unit. Has that changed? And has the timeline been established more firmly?

About once a week, usually Friday afternoons, I check sharepoint for updates to the various projects I am interested in. Last I saw on SD roll-out was like 2 weeks ago. There's a slide deck for the Canadian Army Dress and Ceremonial Committee that met at the end of November that said rollout would be "Combo of individual mbr and unit/corps issue" starting in Q4 of FY 26/27. I would expect to see the CCA and CA SM wearing the new uniform right before block leave next Christmas.
