Updated Army Service Dress project

Project has slipped a year to the right according to Sharepoint. Delivery is now 2028, even though design was completed mid-2025 and about 6 months ago projected rollout was end 2026. The new combat uniform has also slipped a year to the right, so delivery is 2029.
Thanks Logistik Unicorp.

If you go on SharePoint point you'll find some spirited debate about the badge policy for the new uniform ongoing.
That is very army.

Finally opened up the RCN dress instructions, and found that morale badges just need approval by unit chief, so got to have fun with an old movember patch from the German Marine aviator branch for a bit in Carling.

No one ever said anything, but the double takes in the coffee line (with no remarks) was pretty funny.

Did wonders for morale though, lots of smiles and chuckles!

I quote "No actions by DLR, DSSPM or contractor will ever cause a delay. Never have. Never will." lol

Maybe we should just do away with badges....

Flags and ranks being badges....

The risk of exposed Velcro is also high on the concern list.

Are they bringing back the British salute, along with the " new" British style uniform.?

It's not a british uniform. It's an updated version of the uniform worn by the Canadian Army in the inter-war period, which was unique to the Canadian army

Its a combat uniform. Sleeves down. Doing office work? Maybe 3B is the dress you should be in.

Im sitting in an office in my NECUs with me sleeves roll up right now cranky pants.
