We're out of stock.
What are ARes recruits supposed to wear during BMQ?

We're out of stock.
It's not a british uniform. It's an updated version of the uniform worn by the Canadian Army in the inter-war period, which was unique to the Canadian army

One problem that has arisen lately is an L1 or an element of one will do something like this but forget they need to utilize stock or resources that is managed/controlled by another L1. BMQ is a great example as it uses a large amount of army field kit to achieve its aims. If there is no coordination done the L1 (or element thereof) wanting to run training has experienced difficulty sourcing resources controlled by another group.Ill let you know RCN wise soon. We're finally doing our own Naval oriented basic trg; and I am involved in the initial set up from a sustainment stand point.

And befor!Coveralls like we did in 1974.
I personally believe that a Commonwealth Army has ought to look and act like one. Bringing back the old salute is perfectly acceptable to me. Quite a few people have started around my unit and it's generally been accepted. Are they bringing back the British salute, along with the " new" British style uniform.?
You have to be trolling lmaoI personally believe that a Commonwealth Army has ought to look and act like one. Bringing back the old salute is perfectly acceptable to me. Quite a few people have started around my unit and it's generally been accepted.

I have seen one BMQ that didn't get uniforms till week three, but all the others I have seen recently have gotten at least some type of cadpat. Although, when it comes to things like TacVests, ruck sacks, small backs, and sleeping gear.....they might get issued it for BMQ and then have it taken away before the end of the course to be issued to the next BMQ.What are ARes recruits supposed to wear during BMQ?![]()
I remember going out to a biv during covid when we had 14 courses in field. I rilled uo and saw civi tents of all different colours "what the campers village fuck is this" i recall sayingI have seen one BMQ that didn't get uniforms till week three, but all the others I have seen recently have gotten at least some type of cadpat. My unit has put troops in the field in winter with whatever civilian sleeping bag that they happened to have at home. I have also seen more senior go into the field in winter without any sleeping kit because it was taken away from them, "because they didn't need it".
