Next they will be banning Big Garish looking Marines.

On a side note the worst Tat I ever saw was on a girl working the counter a Laura Secord. She had a "Gitter-er-Done" on the back of her neck. Can anyone say Trailer....

Yeah....that's what I'm talking about....she'll probably be dressed up in a strapless gown this summer standing for her best friend.... ::)

Regimental tattoo's are sort of taboo sometimes as well.....when your PPCLI....and have a HUGE armoured fist on your arm. ;)
Seen that one.

My next tattoo is:

Take me back to that snug green cove
Where the seas roll up their thunder.
There let me rest in the earth's cool Breast
Where the stars shine out their wonder -
And the seas roll up their thunder

Sort of a last will and testament. From my favorite song in the world, the kind of song that gives you coldshivers (Besides the national anthem and Newfoundlands national anthem this is the only song that does for me.)
Thinking across my back.

Wow, that is nice EX_RCAC_011. I want to get the Newfoundland and Canadian flags, some time this year I think.

I love the little "side note" regarding Officer's tattoos. Now, is that 4 separate tattoos? What if I have 3 really close together so that they are all touching, does that count as 1 or 3?

The joys of a 'peacetime' military...... (for those who aren't actually fighting a war, and so can focus on this sort of thing).

After all, what other standard are you going to focus on -- competence?!

On my phone so I can't read the links. But if there's a Tattoo policy, is there also a Mr Roarke  policy?  #1970sTV

For the curious, here is the USMC policy on Tattoos:
