Looking for Land Pte Cpl Metal Rank Insignia...aka collar dogs.

Cash sales.. is being ...well cash sales..

So does anyone have any extras they would like to donate my way? I am sure I can cover the shipping.

If you are entitled to those rank ensignia, go to clothing stores and get them issued.

What you are requesting is more expensive than purchasing them, which you do not have to do in the first place.

I know I am entitled to them. I have some, but one set for my over coat and one for my DEU mint green shirt.


I "would" like some more for my wind jacket and other shirts I have. I wear my 3B's and 3C's a lot in what I do now. I prefer my combats, but oh well.

Seems like there is always a shortage of ARMY metal rank insignia, because I've always been asked for my old ones once I have been promoted by the guys within the Coy. I had to buy my first 2 sets at a Gun Show when I was promoted the last time.

True that. You can't walk in to buy extras any more (since the fall of 2005 actually - when cash sales disappeared) because now these items are exchangeable.

TN, I know it's a long shot, but try Ron's ARMY/NAVY on Gottengen ST.Robie St?  Or the one over in Burnside.  They might have some.
As for Supply and cash sales, it's hard to exchange what you no longer have, ie. LOST down your shirt. 
I'd offer mine, but I'm now Air Force and have ship ons!!!

Agreed, but the arguement there is "that's why they have MLRs."

Fill one out and accept fin resp...then clothing will give you new ones. Simple, just like that!! 

And for DEU accoutrements, you only have to accept fin resp and go to clothing. Items are not controlled etc so the MLR does not need to go through your CoC.

The one is Burnside is gone now, unfortunately but there is one on Agricola, between North and Almon St's, I got some stuff there last fall.

I am not sure what happened to the big Ron's out in Burnside.  TAO is in that location now IIRC.

Joe Drouin has them in stock. He has all ranks, even rare ones.
They are not posted on line, When  looking for any military badges, pins, medals, etc. ask him about it. he might help you out.

Because Logistik Unicorp is a civilian business. And it is not the company that makes or supplies via contract those very DEU accoutrments of which you speak.

If you were a business who manufactured garments...would you carry (ie waste your shelf space and thus have to pay for it's associated costs) an item you didn't make or supply to the CF who happen to be one of your smallest customers?

Not a very smart business move on their part.

I found some on eBay but the crook want $80 for them. I told him to pound sand. It was all the NCM-NCO ranks.


Gee... if I don't find some.. what Am I going to do? Watch I get charge and demoted to Pte R... hey... look on the bright side...I won't need those rank insignia anymore..
