Liberal Minority Government 2025 - ???

The admission fee is likely so low because the Europeans (rightly) see us as more of a buyer than a seller in this situation.
but its 1/4 of what was offered to the UK, and we get an exception to the 35% cap on content mean more canadian content can be in euro equipment

So Guibeault quits with protest, looks like the LPC is breaking apart.

Lot more validity to that claim than the CPC is falling apart theory being tossed around a few weeks ago.

And Poilievre and his doppleganger at the Parliamentary press dinner, rock start classic!
I think we're getting played somehow...

First the floor crosser, who lied about the situation within the CPC in order to justify betraying his constituents - which in turn sparked rumours about other MP's potentially crossing the floor.

All around the same time the LPC tried to force an abrupt snap election, go figure... (they're just so damn dirty, like wtf?)

Then we hear rumours of LPC MP's potentially crossing the floor, or leaving politics altogether despite there being approx 3 years left (assuming there won't be another election until then)

I have a feeling there's some puppetry going on. It's slowly reinforcing a theory I've been contemplating & kinda looking into - but I suspect there's some attempted puppet dancing in play here

Can we use SAFE to buy European modular homes?

Feds to reduce housing spending by half, build only 26,000 homes: Budget watchdog

Spending on housing programs will decline by more than half over the next four years with the federal government’s $13-billion signature housing initiative leading to the construction of just 26,000 new homes, a new parliamentary budget officer (PBO) report says.

Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada’s (CIRNAC) spending on housing will go from $550 million this year to $350 million in 2028-29.

The Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation’s (CMHC) spending will go from $6.16 billion this year to $2.16 billion by 2028-29.

Housing, Infrastructure and Communities Canada funding will drop from $770 million this year to zero in 2028-29.

Indigenous Services Canada funding for housing will drop from $1.36 billion to $310 million by 2028-29.

Humm, who to believe.

The Liberal government would never lie, would they?

Stellantis contradicts government, says it never requested redactions to contract provided to MPs

Auto giant Stellantis says the government, not the company, insisted on redacting copies of a controversial agreement with Ottawa worth hundreds of millions of dollars requested by a Commons committee.

A letter sent to the House Government Operations Committee by Stellantis appears to contradict testimony by top Industry Canada (ISED) officials last week that redactions to the agreement sent to MPs — who demanded unredacted copies — were requested by the auto giant.

In response, Industry Minister Mélanie Joly said that her department would finally release the unredacted agreement to the committee after repeatedly refusing to do so

Legault calls Miller a 'disgrace to all Quebecers' for his comments on French language

A day after being named federal culture minister, Marc Miller says he's 'fed up' with language debate

A day after being named federal culture minister, Marc Miller is drawing ire from several Quebec officials, including the premier of his home province.

Miller, who replaced Steven Guilbeault in cabinet on Monday, said Tuesday that the French language is precarious throughout North America, rather than saying it is declining in Quebec specifically, as the provincial government would characterize it.

“As a Quebecer, I’m pretty fed up with this debate that is generally identity-based,” Miller said in French during a scrum.

Corporations also would never lie either right? stellantis has more to lose from its corporate reputation then the government here.
True true. The Liberals have nothing to lose getting caught lying. It's not like they'll be punished or held accountable.

Did you read the article? One side certainly seems less forth coming than the other.

It's hard to find the actual full quote, but here's another article with more context;

“As a Quebecer, I’m pretty fed up with this debate, which is generally about identity and elections,” Miller told reporters in Ottawa. (in French).

Sounds like he was talking more about the language debate getting turned into an 'us vs them', and the general approach of also attacking immigrants and native anglophone Quebecers to win elections by driving a wedge between Quebecers.
