Liberal Minority Government 2025 - ???

What, precisely, are you suggesting any members here “support”? If you’re gonna suggest it, come right out and say it.
Support what exactly?

If someone is posting videos critical of governments trying to regulate X/twitter in order to prevent it from allowing its AI to undress underage girls and women in general, and saying governments trying to address X/Twitter undressing underage girls and women in general is censorship, or saying that it's legal in the USA for AI to undress underage girls and women in general, it stands to reason that said individual/s is supportive of the right of X/twitter to allow their AI to undress underage girls and women in general.

So I'm asking, is anyone supporting Grok undressing underage girls and women in general or is it okay to allow there to be oversight and consequences for social media platforms that allow this trash?

Canadian law’s language is intentionally broad. It does not require that the depiction was of an actual child at the time of capture. Even drawings and writings that meet the definition of child pornography can be prosecuted. This means that AI-generated content is treated the same as content involving real minors for these offences.

To wit, there's consequences in Canada for creating or possessing it.

There is a disconnect between Canadian law and American law because in the US they don't see cartoons or AI of Child Sexual Abuse Material as 'child porn'.

Do you have a point to make or are you just trying to corner someone with SO DO YOU SUPPORT something?

Okay, with that understanding clearly stated, is it a problem for governments like the UK, Australia, moving to regulate or ban a platform that is engaging in child porn?

I excluded Canada because our AI minister has clearly stated Canada wont do anything about it.

Why in the hell are you trying to walk @CBH99 into this corner? No one is truly a free speech absolutist. You can be the most ardently free-speech, anti-censorship proponent, and still believe in, at minimum, a line where child safety is respected.

Why do you seem to think @CBH99, or at least imply, that with his strong anticensorship stance, he would be "ok" with child pornography? Not only is that an illogical step to be making, it's extremely unfair and unkind to him.

What made you leap to that?
Implied opposition to any consequences for X/Twitter for engaging in the mass production and unsolicited dissemination of child porn.

Unless "Just the LPC sneakily pushing their censorship agenda..." is somehow in support of consequences for X/Twitter for engaging in the mass production and unsolicited dissemination of child porn, and if that is the case, I apologize for the misunderstanding.

Because we have Grok, AI bot linked to X/Twitter, undressing underage girls and women without their consent, and having those AI generated photos distributed to untold million on their platform, and when a government lifts their hand to do anything about it, he posted that it was the LPC trying to engage in censorship.

That implies, to me at least, that they are opposed to the LPC or any government trying to stop X/Twitter from engaging in the mass production and unsolicited dissemination of child porn and unconsensual porn. To which I am asking, hey, do you support X/Twitter engaging in the mass production and unsolicited dissemination of child porn, and unconsensual porn?

I didn't think it would be so hard for anyone to say, hey, mass production and unsolicited dissemination of child porn and unconsensual porn is a BAD THING.

Welllll hoolllyyyy shit...did I ever stumble into a minefield here... "Was this shit even marked & I just didn't see it?"

Let me backtrack here for just a minute...

- I can honestly say I've never actually been on X. (Like really. Like really really.)

- Obviously I'm not down with child pornography. I'm personally ALL FOR a bullet to the head for anybody who produces it or intentionally distributes it

I was blissfully uaware this was even a thing being talked about. Slowly walking myself backwards, out of the minefield...

...

The REASON I posted this was because of the trend of western governments to censor certain platforms & certain narratives, and introduce online censorship legislation.

Specifically in this case, the Online Harms Act. In which the UK, Canada, and Australia all introduced broadly the same pieces of legislation at around the same time in their respective Houses.

If X is turning a blind eye to a massive child pornography issue permiating their media space, fry em' for it.

If Youtube can do it, I'm sure X can do it too
.

Many thanks for the clarification.

Ok. I’m pretty sure no one on this site regardless of their politics would be for child porn.
The guy in the video posted was pretty much "the stuff i've seen isn't that bad, so this must be for censorship." pretty much downplaying the child porn and unconsensual porn Grok is creating and Twitter is disseminating.

I questioned why that was posted.

CBH has since clarified and it seems they were unaware of the Grok stuff, and I believe them.

It makes a lot more sense now given that context.

That all said, there are way too many people who are jumping to Elon Musks defense online with a variety of reasons

"all AI do it" - Which is true, but Grok does it and dissimenates it on one of the worlds biggest social media platforms, which is a step further of what other AI do and doesn't excuse other AI either.

"It's AI generated so it's not real porn" - Which doesn't matter in this context, because in the nations discussing what to do about it, that's still illegal

"This is an assault on free speech" - Said by Elon himself, and unless child porn and unconsensual porn qualifies as free speech he can STFU

"Even if it is, Trump will be mad if anyone does anything about it" - Cowards.

All this to say, whille I would HOPE nobody here is for Grok creating this utter filth, it's not safe to assume that's the case.

He's dead Jim!

The reason behind the proposed X ban is getting news coverage. I don’t think one needs to have seen the images in the wold to know of them.

"For the low low price of 3 dollars a month, you can ask Grok to undress anyone, of any age! Get a subsription before we are banned in the following countries!"

~Elon Musk, probably

Donald Trump's Elon Musks latest tweet action is absolutely reprehensible because he knows exactly what Grok is doing, and instead of stopping it, he's monetizing it.

Elon Musk is the richest man in the world. $342B

You figure he is worried about $3 subscriptions? So people can look at naked children?

Say what now? What wagons? And against what threat? That was a comment on how often I see the Strawman Fallacy being taken for a spin.....
Except it wasn't a strawman.

I never present an argument for CHB.

I didn't say for example "Why do you support child porn?"

I did ask " do you support Grok making child porn?"

At most it is a loaded question, but that would be more structured as "How much longer will you support Grok creating child porn?"

So I reject your premise.
