I wrote about ordinary people - not ICE members decked out in their gear - being assaulted, not yelled at. It shouldn't be hard to fathom the difference. It's mob violence; it's not even vigilantism - vigilantes at least usually go after people caught red-handed doing whatever crime offends the vigilantes.

Worth noting he actually had two black gentleman step in and escort him safely out of the area to prevent this being used as a point of escalation by ICE, and all things consdiered he didn't get much more than yelled and and shoved a round a bit. Someone did claim his chest rig as a trophy though.

Didn't stop the grifter from crying about non existant injuries and setting up a go fund me for medical bills though.

The guy is a raging idiot, but getting swarmed and assaulted by people isn't really an acceptable response to his douchbaggery. It just adds more escalation to a situation that needs a lot less escalation.

By mobbing him the crowd gave him exactly what he wanted - escalation, martyrdom and a cash flow for all of eternity. Political violence begets political violence.
