I was watching a Herc from Winnipeg on Flightradar last night. I thought it was maybe sent for CASEVAC but then I saw the posts about SAR Techs dropping in that would have matched when the Herc got there.
Rutland even said in his briefing there was no damage to gas infrastructure. Two reporters asked again about explosions and gas and were told no. Internet loves its conspiracies

Yup, it was a 435 squadron Herc from Winnipeg. I saw it on Flightradar and assumed it was kit or pers; it didn’t even occur to me they’d drop SARTECHs onto the base, but it makes absolute sense as a way to augment the base and community hospitals. MEDEVAC was continuing for several hours after that so I imagine they were put to work.
