There's a lot of grief tourism on social media over this.If he is who he says he is, he should know better than to put unverified information and/or speculation like that out.

Likely from Comox, over the mountains. Winnipeg is the other alternative but faster from Comox.
As I recall there were social media posts a out a Herc from Winnipeg.
I haven't seen that myself, but I was expecting it.The most disgusting ones Im seeing are the AB seppies saying this has something to do with the vote tomorrow.

Rutland even said in his briefing there was no damage to gas infrastructure. Two reporters asked again about explosions and gas and were told no. Internet loves its conspiraciesThat's just the tip of the conspiracy theory iceberg.
The gas line/well theroy is alive and well. Must keep prices artificially high to offset the defunct carbon tax.
A second "terrorist incident" as a followup to the first "incident" in Gagetown last week.
US sabotage.
I'm sure there will be more.

Just wondering, no SAR Techs in CFB Edmonton?
No. If memory serves:Just wondering, no SAR Techs in CFB Edmonton?
I don't know where SAR techs are posted, but augmenting from other locations would not be unexpected in this sort of an incident.Just wondering, no SAR Techs in CFB Edmonton?
Yup, it was a 435 squadron Herc from Winnipeg. I saw it on Flightradar and assumed it was kit or pers; it didn’t even occur to me they’d drop SARTECHs onto the base, but it makes absolute sense as a way to augment the base and community hospitals. MEDEVAC was continuing for several hours after that so I imagine they were put to work.I was watching a Herc from Winnipeg on Flightradar last night. I thought it was maybe sent for CASEVAC but then I saw the posts about SAR Techs dropping in that would have matched when the Herc got there.
What an awful day.![]()
And yet here you are, trying to have your cake and eat it. You aren't much better yourself.I've seen seppie posts make it a race issue. It's great they are revealing who they really are. Only saving grace in a moment like this.
Im sure we will have a Star of Courage or two added to the regiments honors.Regarding the response yesterday: in the fullness of time I expect we’re going to hear some incredible stories of heroism, professionalism, and ‘stepping up’, as our troops always do. I look forward to when those can be shared with us.
