If it's sound policy, why not vote for the guy coming up with the idea, rather than the guy resorting to stealing someone else's ideas.
because the people creating these ideas aren't running, a lot of the "stolen" economic policies for example are coming from recommendations from economists. Not to mention when the CPC says they will use the NWC for crime, they just sound stupid IMO trying to fish for votes because the NWC lasts 5 years, meaning the moment they dont hold gov and the NWC expires and law would be declared unconstitutional by the supreme court. realistically then might hold gov for 10 years at best, so that wont work.

So what exactly is the LPC stance on pipelines and how will Canada become an energy superpower?
Green energy superpower. Also by superpower they mean we'll cut our GDP by 50% to reach NetZero and make absolutely 0 change to global emissions. Then we'll be the green energy superpower of the third world.

Canadian Future Party (CFP) has a fairly detailed defence policy platform. I haven’t seen anything like this from other political parties.

Got any proof that it's being "stolen" and not just a good idea that they both came up with independently?
The fact it's policies they've been pushing for the past few years, and the Liberals have been against until this election cycle, such as eliminating the Carbon Tax and canceling the capital gains tax hike, or Poilievre announces it and a few weeks later Carney announces the same thing.

Good article from Sam Cooper. He's been dropping some good articles on China's influence in Canada and who's been facilitating it.

Interesting drive today...through two rural ridings.

First Riding:
With a week to go there are large signs for all three major parties around the main town. Rural roads are still dominated by CPC though at probably 100 CPC :1 other.

Second riding:
Into a major town and it's a two horse race by signage - equal CPC and PPC. Around town though it's all CPC. No sign of NDP or LPC signage.

I'm aware signage isn't always the final outcome but I find its telling. I fully expect both to go CPC with a significant majority but it also does highlight even within the ridings the urban/rural vote split and party choices associated with each.

May your local situation be more exciting and meaningful than my options.

Sounds like the vultures are circling already
It's also quite possible that it suits his needs to have a federal LPC government, because it gives him somebody to contrast against to keep himself popular in Ontario.

I half wonder if Smith is doing the same intentional damage to the CPC, because playing against the federal government suits her political needs.
