The Americans can complain as much as they want to, but it's our country, not theirs.
Carney couldn't handle Trump complaining about a commercial.

I don't see any Canadian leader having the intestinal fortitude to be a big boy and do big boy things.Carney couldn't handle Trump complaining about a commercial.
Countries that didn't, Canada, Ukraine, now suffer from neighbours that look at them with territorial expansion on the mind.
Brother, how many times has he called for Canada to join the USA as the 51st state? You're right, the US is our Russia.
Why is there so much fantasies coming from the left in Canada of a US invasion? It's almost like they want it to happen to fulfill some sort of emotional self-gratification regarding their views on Trump.
Brother, how many times has he called for Canada to join the USA as the 51st state?
How many times has he said he's serious about it?
He said the same about Greenland and turns out...he's not trolling.
So when someone clearly says he wants your country, and the only constraints he has is how belligerent he wants to be that morning, take it seriously.
The only other countries in the world facing this level of neighbour wanting their land is Eritrea, Denmark,Taiwan and Ukraine. All of them seem to take it pretty seriously.
Oh really? Since we have no control over it we clearly cannot discuss it.Calling for Canada to become the 51st does not mean tanks and troops are set to roll across the border.
The Greenland issue is a different matter for the other thread.
Until the Gov of Canada takes the fantasy of US take over seriously, this is all fearmongering which no one has any control over - so stop dreaming about it. The government gun-grab is still a go, the Liberals don't want Canadians owning weapons for self-defense. How are we supposed to defend Canada when the government is removing the basic tools we would need? Hell, does the CAF even have enough C7s and ammo?
Not a particularly rational idea, though.Interesting idea.
Trump has said he would compel Canada to become part of the US. That is not a polite invitation. That is hostile.Calling for Canada to become the 51st does not mean tanks and troops are set to roll across the border.

I think the CAF ended up with approx 80,000 C7A2 rifles - but more than 250,000 C7 rifles have been built since 1982Calling for Canada to become the 51st does not mean tanks and troops are set to roll across the border.

So about the same number of AR-based rifles as a typical mid-West town in the US?I think the CAF ended up with approx 80,000 C7A2 rifles - but more than 250,000 C7 rifles have been built since 1982
(Some gun nut will surely correct my peasant info, I'm sure)
Just to be on the safe side we should hurry up and turn personal firearms in to the Carney government.I don't think think he has interest in sending the 10th Mtn Div across the Gananoque bridges.
That's "enthusiast", thank you very much.I think the CAF ended up with approx 80,000 C7A2 rifles - but more than 250,000 C7 rifles have been built since 1982
