What you just saw was PP unfiltered through the CBC and other Canadian news outlets. He was always there, but filtered. The "narrative" will appear to not continue on this side of the border when that CBC filter is once again applied.

I don't disagree with you. But PP also seemed to make it a policy to talk to no one during the campaign.

By doing this he let the opposition (the media) dictate the tempo or narrative.

If you really think it's only the "CBC filter" that's in place re: how people perceive him (in spite of huge poll leads over PMJT right up until PMJT GTFO'ed), why did he appear with Archetypical CBC'ist Peter Mansbridge on his podcast? I await PP's appearance on a show like this ...

I felt he did a great job representing himself and Canada. His comment: "I won't criticize the Prime Minister on foreign soil" and how he describes his role as the leader of the Loyal Opposition speaks well of the Canadian system. I am sure that quite few Americans are confused about a system with some decorum still remaining. I think a big point of this interview is to reach the US public and help push Canada's case in regards to tariffs and other political issues.

As expected, it was an excellent podcast.

Same Pierre as last year, message is pretty much the same, but change the format and presentation, and suddenly many here are ok with Pierre.

What I see is some here could not sort through the noise and hear the signal last year. And I would also certainly pin some of this on Jenni Byrne. She was not the right campaign manager for battling the unknown PM MC. Her strategy was effective against PM JT but not Uncle Mark.

Again, very little has changed in his direction and policy proposals, it was just the wrapping and presentation.

As expected, it was an excellent podcast.

A lot of the expectations I saw pegged this interview (pre-release) as the nail in the coffin. Poilievre was done done done. No way he can recover.
