Updated Army Service Dress project

I didn’t say they were - I said that’s the civilian association. I don’t think the average Canada really thinks much about uniforms, maybe the red serge is a national symbol but the idea square rig is ever really thought of seems far fetched. I do t know that any of those uniforms are going to help keep hull techs around if they were told to adopt it though.

Modernized Square rig for ceremonial only. Somehow the UK manages it

Get rid of the silk scarf, pockets, better materials, maybe ditch the bellbottoms completely?

If the Aussies and the Bersaglieri ca run around with chickens on their head then the Navy can handle a silk scarf and lanyard under their collar.

As for pockets - keep the bell bottoms and put some in the seams. You could hide a footlong in there.

Whatever happens, we must keep that Pith Helmet.

Nothing says 'Don't make me come down there you naughty chaps ...' quite like the good old solar topee ;)
