Thomas Barnett: The Pentagon's new map for war and peace
« on: January 04, 2008, 14:09:15 »
A very interesting presentation by someone paid to think about how things could work.

I believe there some lessons here for Canada as well.  Worth the 23 minutes of time.

Already discussed here a few weeks ago. But: Yes, it is worth the time.

Mods: maybe a merge is in order?
It is ill that men should kill one another in seditions, tumults and wars; but it is worse to bring nations to such misery, weakness and baseness
as to have neither strength nor courage to contend for anything; to have nothing left worth defending and to give the name of peace to desolation.
Algernon Sidney in Discourses Concerning Government, (1698)
