I think the RCAF uniform could be great with two simple tweaks; adding a belt, and switching to a peaked cap instead of the wedge.

If the wedge was actually still a useful field cap, I'd be all about it. The current abomination needs to die.

It's also ugly... I hated every time I had to put that stupid hat on. I'm not kidding when I say that ball caps, and not wearing a wedge were a part of the reasons for my switch to RCN DEU.

I’m still giving 50/50 that the RCAF looks at the new (old) CA uniform and decides to do the same.

I think that when the other elements look at the new Canadian Army Service Dress they will want to modernize their uniforms. If only for the fact that the CASD will have different styles of cuts and more flexibility in sizing than the current uniforms, it is also made with more modern fabric making it more comfortable,
