I don’t know enough about international cooperation in aerial firefighting… Do ‘we’ send help in the sense that Canadian federal or provincial governments benevolently dispatch their own water bomber fleets to fires in the U.S.? Or are Canadian water bombers in the States privately owned and simply hopping on a contract? I want to be confident about what we’re claiming credit for and if there’s actually credit there to be claimed.

They request for the help and pay the salaries, travel, etc. of the firefighters/equipment provided. Vice versa if we request and they come to Canada. These are government resources not private enterprises.

They passed a law that basically allows supplement companies to put their product to market without requiring the FDA to ensure they are safe first.
Many companies have 2 seperate product lines for the same product...one to be sold on the American market, and one for the export market and are subject to far stricter testing/screening procedures.

Unfortunately for the Conservatives, the new NDP leader is as ineffectual as his predecessors. With that flank secure, the LPC can focus on further eroding the left wing of the CPC.

I suspect the prior left of the CPC has already jumped ship, so the left flank is now what was previously the centre.
At some point the remaining Trudeau (Jr) Liberals may jump ship to the NDP, but the core LPC staff and those in the orbit thereof have always been primarily focused on retention of power, not ideological purity.
The return to key bagmen being stuffed in the Senate to give them contacts and a secure income while their principal job is as a party manager has returned.
TL;DR I suspect there are many within the LPC establishment who are pleased to see Trudeau Mk II leave, so they can return to the prior status quo.
