I don't think there is much of a trick to it. They could prob dust off some older, pre-2015, manuals on it and be quite successful.
The LPC spent a decade doing it very stupidly. And in the face of that, the Canadian voters have indicated they trust the LPC to have another crack at it. Should be fun.
Yeah. Down side of not doing it intelligently is when creates a feedback loop. Particularly when our population growth is faster than the expansion of housing and public infrastructure.
Sure. However we now have a vastly more economically literate and focused PM, and a distinctly different ministry. They’re all well aware of the political hazard immigration policy presents. I would be surprised if our immigration policy going forward isn’t much more firmly pragmatic and based on the national interest.
