just gotta hold out till the id terms, if the dems win, Trump will get neutered in his ability to do thingsThis, Geordie Howe bridge, supply management, China…the Administration is behoven to gift King Trump gifts for America 250 on July 1st.
Because trump has been going through congress to do most of his actions?just gotta hold out till the id terms, if the dems win, Trump will get neutered in his ability to do things
More like the dems are still poised to win and will actively move to block himBecause trump has been going through congress to do most of his actions?

Any takers that either one of the son's or his daughter runs for the Republican Presidential ticket for 2028?More like the dems are still poised to win and will actively move to block him
Rubio or Vance take the loss in 2028, american public sours on the dems because of "reasons" and forget all about Trump and MAGA and Eric wins in 2032 and its the same stupidity all over again.Any takers that either one of the son's or his daughter runs for the Republican Presidential ticket for 2028?
far fetched maybe but start by simply saying no without the fancy political bafflegab. Use some of those hundreds of thousands of civil servants to assist stricken industries to identify other markets. Remove the industrial roadblocks such as the entire carbon capture conditions on acceptance and any others that are ensuring that nothing happens such as standing up to the first nations and getting the Churchill developments fast tracked. We certainly can't blockade the St. Lawrence although a $100,000 fee for American ships using the Welland might cause a bit of agitation. So far all we seem to have done is back down. And how would that option work here?
If we charge large fees on the Welland Canal for US ships, then they'll do the same to us at the Sault Locks in the UP.far fetched maybe but start by simply saying no without the fancy political bafflegab. Unless they pull a Fetterman.More like the dems are still poised to win and will actively move to block him
I still dont see why we should care.
Carry on as normal basically, let them be outraged, we are rearming to a level not seen since ww2. Soon they will be sorry sarcasmThe Trump administration conditioned us like trained seals rushing to clap or bark anytime they post shit on Twittwer.
True but they have more ports above Lake Ontario than we have on Lake Superior and it wouldn't be impossible, I hope, to revitalize the North of Superior rail line to bypass the locks entirely and ship out of Sault. If we charge large fees on the Welland Canal for US ships, then they'll do the same to us at the Sault Locks in the UP.
Iran seems to have a solution that doesn't require bending a knee. Perhaps we should take lessons in intestinal fortitude
With the exception of Saturday Night Football what would we actually lose that we couldn't substitute from someplace else other than China. The advantage of being a totalitarian autocracy is you don’t have to worry about the suffering of the people. I can’t see that working well here.
March madness? With the exception of Saturday Night Football what would we actually lose that we couldn't substitute from someplace else other than China.
I'm not sure what you're proposing. Maybe in 10 years and a lot of money to build port facilities and grain elevators at the Soo. The small commercial port adjacent to the steel mill is above the rapids, so you would have to completely gut downtown SSM along the river to put in the necessary infrastructure. Besides, since the shipping channel downriver flows through US waters, I'm sure they would find a way. As well, two locks in the St. Lawrence portion are US.True but they have more ports above Lake Ontario than we have on Lake Superior and it wouldn't be impossible, I hope, to revitalize the North of Superior rail line to bypass the locks entirely and ship out of Sault.
